GE Profile washer won't drain. I checked the hose for kinks and blockage and there is nothing obstructing flow. It gives a message that it is not draining properly, and after I open and closethe lid a few times, it eventually drains.

The washer stops at 39 minutes on a regular wash cycle and the code OE is displayed

This fault code can mean that the pump is faulty as well as blocked, first of all check for a blockage and, if none is found then the likelihood is that the drain pump is faulty. Should you need it, the most common drain pump used on LG washers and washer dryers is this one.
On non-display panel models this fault code is denoted by the lights for 800, 500 and No Spin being lit or flashing.

GE WSXH208V1WW

Usually when you have a washer that will not drain, first check if the drain hose is kinked or too high above the washer (8 ft is the limit of the washer pump). Next check if there is a blockage in your drain (often a stand pipe) or if the air can't get into the stand pipe. The final thing to check is for foreign objects in the pump to drain hose area that block the drain. (This requires getting into the pump and disconnecting the hose. Keep a bucket ready to catch the water that will pour out of the washer.)

GE has the manuals for many of their appliances on their support site: http://www.geappliances.com/service_and_support/literature/ . Enter the model number and click submit. The direct link to the manual for the WSXH208V1WW is http://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90256.pdf .

I hope this helps.

(at least my washer won't spin if the water can't pump out. On a few washers (non-high efficiency) the solenoid has failed to open for the pump to drain the water.)

Where?s the filter on my GE WSXH208A Front Loader? Thank you beltronic205 (GE WSXH208A Front Loader won?t drain). I drained the tub by lowering the drain hose as suggested. But where is the filter, what...

There is no acutal filter on this unit...You cab remove the back panel to access the drain pump ...Or tilt the washer back and access it from the bottom...Remove the drain hose from tub to drain pump...(careful of flow of water from tub)...Check the hose for any blockage...If no blockage then your pump is bad..

GE top load washer will not advance to drain and spin

A washing machine won't spin if the water can't drain. Check hoses for any kinks or clogs that may prevent the water from draining. If a hose has kinks, try to straighten out the kinked hose. If it can't be straighten sufficiently, replace the hose. If hoses are not kinked, check for clogged hoses. This can be done by using the screwdrivers to remove the hoses and looking for clogs or running a water hose through the clogged hose to remove the clog. Use the rags and bucket to clean up the water that comes out of the hoses when they are disconnected. Once the clog is cleared, put the drain hose back into place. The washer should drain and spin now if a clogged or kinked hose was the problem.

If the washer still won't drain or spin, check to see if the lid is not closing all the way or if the lid switch is not clicking into place. Close the lid and make sure that it closes all the way down. When the lid closes, the lid switch should click. If there is no clicking sound, then the switch may need to be replaced.

Another possibility for a washing machine to not spin or drain is the pump. With the back panel still off the washer, check the pump with the voltmeter to ensure that the pump is getting power.

Whirlpool cabrio giving error message LD-what is wrong

Long drain error can be caused by something plugging the drain hose or a kink. Tale it off th drain while it is pumping out and check for a good flow. If the hose is ok the pump may have an obstruction causing low flow and it will have to be cleaned out.

It isn't draining. There is dirty water sitting in the bottom of it. Tried to see if anything was blocking the drain but couldn't find anything.

Check the entire length of the drain hose from the washer bottom to the connection at the sink drain for kinks--you may need to pull the machine out of the cabinet part way to check. Make sure the hose passes over a point higher than the drain connection at the sink. If you have access to a wet/dry shop vacuum, remove the sink end and **** the water out. If nothing comes out, then there is an obstruction somewhere. Use the vacuum to **** the drain opening inside the washer.

The washer will spin and everything els but wont drain

You probably have a blockage in your drain line, or it has become kinked due to an unbalanced load. If you can access the back of washer, check for kinks, if no kicks , hook a shop vac to the drain hose and see if it will **** the obstruction out of drain line. If this doesn't work you may have to remove the water from the washer and remove the drain line an check & remove the obstruction.
Hopefully this helps you out.

It sounds like your drain hose is kinked or blocked, or maybe the pipe that the drain hose drains into is blocked. Somehow water is now being allowed to get out of the machine at the end of the cycle and is staying in the machine. Check those hoses and pipes.

Our GE Profile Deluxe washer is not draining

Your post says "drain hose is kinked". I assume you meant NOT kinked. You didn't leave a model # so it's difficult to advise. If it's a top loader set it to spin and listen for the drain pump sound. If you hear just a dull hum it's probably stuck with something in it.
Use a shop vac to get the water out. Pull the front off and remove the hoses from the pump. Look into the inlet and you'll see the object.
