clean and backflush somehow the nozzle its definately clogged! If you cleaR the obstruction great if thats not it, its the pump! Replace with a brass one, even if its more expensive...atleast it will be servicable!

I bought a honda pressure washer power boss 3000. I load the gasoline, start the machine, but pressure water is not coming out from the trigger. i tried so many things , but can t get started.

If you are using a water tank for water supply, remove the water supply line from the pressure washer and connect a water hose from a faucet. Turn the water on, then crank the engine. Pull the trigger of the spray gun until water comes out. When then water starts to spray properly the release the trigger, shut engine down with pressure on the line then reconnect the water supply from the tank to the pressure washer. If this fixes the problem then the problem was "air-locked"! Happens alot with new pressure washers that have never been run. Won't start. Pull chord will only come out quarter of the way.

There could be two possible problems here.

1) Usually you want to squeeze the gun trigger to release backpressure on the pump so the engine will turn over easily. So hold the gun in one hand with water coming out of the gun while pulling cord.

2) The pull cord mechanism is connected to top of power washer with 3-4 bolts.
Take off those bolts and see if you can unravel the problem. The mechanism is connected to a spring and the spring pulls the cord back in ... so it seems like the rope is in a bind or the pull mechanism is bad.
We had to buy a replacement pull cord mechanism at one time for our power washer, but I forget exactly why it stopped working. We used the power washer two days a week for years. It's aggravating when it doesn't work.

Cant start the unit ,there is to much pressure on the pull chord when water is hooked up.

Trying to start a pressure washer with water supply on and gun trigger off will be a difficult task. It could be comparred to trying to start a lawn mower with the mower in tall grass. Place the mower on the drive or walkway and pulling the rope to start the engine is much easier. It is easy to start your pressure washer with no water in the system however there is a remote possibility that you could overheat the seals if you take too long to turn on the water. It is a little more difficult to start the washer with water supply on and someone holding the trigger to wand open. This will prevents pressure from building and making engine hard to start. You will not damage your washer if you start it with water supply off if you flood the pump and pressure hose with water first . Here is the procedure I use if i am working alone. I trun on the water to pump and open trigger to gun to allow water to flow into pump and pressure hose. Turn off water (leaving the water supply on will make it a little harder to pull starter). Start engine while holding trigger to gun open. When engine starts release gun causing unloader to activate circulating water in pump. Now turn on water and you are ready to work. If your system is under warranty however, I would advise to use the starting procedure outlined by mfg (hold open trigger to gun however). To get the longest life from unit try using it at say 75% of capacity or lower if your can and use max pressure on the tuffest jobs. Leaving your washer at full pressure for all jobs is like driving your car at 100 mph everywhere your go. Good luck.

The power washer is surging cuting in and out when i turn da nozzele to get stronger water pressure?

When I use my machine I hook up the water to the pump, hook up the high pressure line and gun, then turn on the water full and squeeze the triger to make sure all air is out before starting the pressure washer(mine is gasoline powered). Then I install the nozel on the spray gun. If you are having surgeing water pressure Check the hose washer where the water hose hooks to the machine, and be sure the supply hose is not restricted and valve is on full.
If this was helpful please leave Feedback. Thanks, SP

No pressure

It is probably air locked....Here's what you need to do. Connect the garden hose, and HP hose, but not the gun. Turn on the water, and let it run while you make sure that there are no high points in the garden hose that can trap air....Work the hose so that any air is displaced through the pressure washer. Continue in this manner through the HP hose. Shut off the water and connect the gun. Turn the hose back on, and operate the gun for several minutes, pulling the trigger and releasing. This alternately allows the water pressure to build up on house pressure and then to depressure, pulling residual air from the system. Release the trigger, and start the machine. Usually, this is enough to get full washing pressure. If it is very difficult to start, you can hold the trigger down on the gun and pull the start cord at the same time. Holding the trigger down acts as an unloader, making the starting easier.
Hope that this helps, --W/D-- please feel free to rate this solution! Thanx!

Air leaks not the problem

sounds like the piston or the head valve is stuck. Open up the back with an allen wrench. Look it over really well. Clean it out with some WD40 after you pop out the head valve and take out the piston and cylinder. You're probably gonna need a kit with seals and o-rings. There is also a bumper (towards the front of the gun that seats inside the cylinder, make sure everything looks good and not dry-rotted or dirty. Lemme know. Please rate me

My karcher pressure washer has lost its water power

I have the same problem. With mine I have to remove the tip that I am using then pull the trigger and then replace the tip and pull and pressure should return. I believe that one of my valves is sticking causing me to reprime the pump frequently. I am trying to clean or replace my valves to fix the problem.

I hope this helps.

Welder feeding or arking

Release the wire feed rollers, turn the wire feed dial up to maximum ensure you are well away from the earth clamp, pull the triger, you should hear the relay click in, if it dosn't check the 5 mil anti serge fuse positioned on either the front of the set or on the control panel near the wire feed rollers inside the cabinet. usualy covered by a plastic screwed knob, make sure the unit is unpluged before any testing.
