I have a Magicolor 2300DL and had no problems till it just suddenly having these problems. It will print out a piece paper, but it looks like its out of toner, which is not the case, because the toner is full. When I prints, it emits this terribly loud and disgusting sound.
The sound is coming from the new toner cartridges. The roller is sticking and causing the gears to make that noise. I removed the toner cartridge and manually turned the roller until it turned smoothly. (this a little hard but it worked). no more noise!

This worked for me, but they were the ORIGINAL cartridges (NOT after-market cartridges). (I DO refill mine, but I hadn't recently refilled the color that was giving the problem.)

(RGB:0-0-255) and one only in green (RGB:0-255-0)
But this wouldn't isolate the individual colors, would it? Because you don't have green, red, and blue cartridges, you have yellow, cyan, and magenta cartridges!
I took the printer to a shop, they told me it was the motor. Printer Dead.
Addition to previous post: I hear the sound only when printing colors. Printing in black/white gives no sound. I printed one paper only in red (RGB:255-0-0), one only in blue (RGB:0-0-255) and one only in green (RGB:0-255-0), but in all cases there was that terrible sound. Especially the blue colors are bad, they fade away for red.

I have the same problem: annoying sound while printing. The colors of the prints are also quite bad. I called the service from Konica Monilta and they told me its because I do not use the original toners ... That is true, I bought compatible toner.
I called the firm where I bought the toners (www.123inkt.nl) and they assure me that it's not the problem of the toner. I can't measure who's right. Of course they both claim they are right.
Just replaced all of the toners with refills and now I get the loud annoying sound when trying to print in color but no color- just black and white. Printing in black and white and the loud noise is not there.
I have had this problem with the loud noise when printing. It turned out to be the after market toner cartridges. They have plenty of toner but the rollor on the toner cartridge is sticking causing the gears to make load noises. I removed the toner cartridge and manually turned the roller on the toner until it turned smoothly. (this is a little hard but it worked) the noise went away and it is prining fine.
