The serial number is no use to anyone except Philips or your insurer. You need to list the model number.

However, if it's a Philips consumer TV, then yes, it will have a Freeview tuner.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission first. If it is found OK, check other codes said to your TV brand. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. The Gateway GTW-P42M303 can display HD content. However, you will need a set-top box to get that content. The TV only has an analog tuner (NTSC or PAL, depending on the area where you purchased the TV). Thus, you will need to connect a digital-to-analog converter to get most over-the-air stations. (Only low power stations are still broadcasting in analog.) Most of the common d-t-a converters only provided SD (480i) output. There are some HD tuner boxes available; you may have a hard time finding them.

If you have cable or satellite service, then you can get the HD programming package and view it on this TV.

The sound IC of your television is bad that is why you have picture but no sound.

The sound IC is the card that the speakers are connected to, and it is connected to the main board of the television.

Once you get the sound IC replaced, your television will be in good conditions once again.

If your Xerox Phaser 6360 has either garbled characters, inverted or upside down display, or no display, the control panel is most likely bad and must be replaced. Here's a video on how to do it and where to get it. Hope it helps!
