Kindle entirely depends upon WiFi to access the internet. Following are the few simple tricks you can try one by one to fix the Kindle Won't connect to wifi error.
Refresh the Kindle Device
Switch Router
Distance of Router and kindle
Must select the 1-11 channel
Connect your kindle with the 2.4 GHz band

Press and holding down the power button for 20 seconds or more. Then turn the device back on by hitting the power button again. Kindle keyboard is not lighting up

Hold down power button for up to two minutes until Tablet turns off.

Mine done the same thing. I opened up the kindle and disconnected the battery plug for a few minutes. It worked after that.

It could be the charger itself. Try taking the USB cable out of the charger and plug it into your computer, then plug in the Kindle. Your computer's USB port should be able to charge it. If it still doesn't charge, you might have a bigger issue with the tablet itself.

First off, I've had 5+ of that type of kindle. Each time the screen was cracked causing the screen to not turn on. If you see any lines this is definitely your problem. If so, you can either replace the screen or replace the kindle.

This may or may not work. Hook up the Kindle to the charger. This might start it up.
