The igniter on my Whirlpool range/oven model wfg320m0bw0 isn't getting any current.

I assume the problem is in the control board. Is there a way to test a control board? Can there be something else that is keeping power from reaching the igniter?

Did you check the igniter for OHMS as well and did you check the power cord for voltage

If the display is totally out it is likely the thermal fuse this is located where the wire connectors plug into the board it looks like a small resistor in a platic shrinkwrap type sleeve. test it with a continuity meter.

Some gas ranges may take 10 or so minutes to light.
Other than that you may have a defective glow bar ignitor.
If it glows and does not light the reistance in the ignitior has failed.

While most foods are cooked at temperatures reaching 375 degrees, the “self-cleaning” setting raises the interior oven temperature to 1,400 degrees. Due to defects in the design and or manufacturing, the electronics contained on many ranges are damaged by extremely high heat. Repairs to damaged control panels typically cost in excess of $300 per replacement.

Here a list of Whirpool oven fault codes. The codes had been collected from different service manuals. This was a memo that I wrote for my own use. I think this can be useful to owners and technicians.

My howdens HJA 3300 electric oven warms up fine but if I want to use the grill alone it hardly get warm at all? Can you help?

You may have several things going on f1 e4 is a control board issue with the touch panel plug in into the control board disconnect and reconnect if this problem presist will need a control board and touch pad for the oven not staying lit there is a new oven igniter kit 8190618 unfortunately no good diagnostics for this problem good luck

The sensor can be tested by using an ohm meter. As temperature rises, the resistance measurement also rises. The manufacturer of the oven sensor determines the correct resistance, Oven temperature problems can be caused by other things, but this is one of the common causes.
Beware on some models now most of these ovens they are electronic and they are integrated into the control itself
some different sensor ohm readings at room temp. approx 16 ohms at room temperature and at 350?F it is 29~33 ohms.

After a power outage / low current power problem this evening, my whirlpool range, Model # SF315PEKW0 started beeping annoyingly, and displayed the following code F1 E1. Also, after, the oven would not...

The "F1-E1" fault code signifies an EEPROM checksum failure within the electronic oven control. Disconnect power to the range for longer than 30 seconds. Re-apply power and observe the display for longer than a minute. If the failure remains, disconnect power and replace the electronic oven control board.
