If this is a natural rubber tube,the good old bike patch kit will do.If it is a vinyl tube,there is a type A or type B.(Different chemical makeups in different types of vinyl will only adhere to the same type).I don't know how to tell which type of vinyl is which,so get one of each type(at a sports eqipment store).If the first one doesn't adhere,you should be able to clean it off and try the other kind.
Put weight (people) on the rear of tube as far as possible and start out at full throttle until they are moving sufficently to stay on top of the water. Make sure tube is fully inflated.
