My GE Profile top load washer won't fill with water, the water runs, and runs, but just drains then finally the timer gets to 1 minute and it all stops. Can you help?
Re: My GE Profile top load washer won't hold water
Your drain line is too low or has a blocked air gap. Take the drain line out of the drain. Hold it up high and turn the washer on to fill. If it fills and begins agitation, repair the drain line problem.

Sounds like there's a hole or loose ejection water hose. Move the washer so it will run and you can look in the back to see where the water is coming from....fix the leaky problem once you find it. Could be a bad hose clamp as well
check the fill hose washer located in the washer cold water fill hose, they get clogged with lime and such, and when you replace the washer run hot water thru the hose to clean it out thoroughly,
OK, i would do a hard reset by unplugging for 2 minutes. if the problem still exists, this is defiantly a malfunctioning relay. it will have to be replaced.
This problem happen to me a few months back--washer was 6 months old. A technician came out and told me that I must have loaded the washer after the water was in the tub. He stated that I must load my washer prior to running the water in because the water fill amount is based on weight; therefore it was now weighing too much. Go figure...have always loaded the washer with water first and clothes last. I always put clothes in first then the water--I must say, the problem has not reappear.
