Fitting a Gforce video card in a veriton 5700GX

Your restrictions are based on available slot size and version. So get one that fits PCI-e x16.

Could not locate PCI version so check your manual, because the slots are backward compatible. Meaning you can connect a Ver 1 card into a Ver 3 slot, but not the other way around.

Expansion Slots - 1x PCI-e x16 slot, 1x PCI-e x1, 2 x PCI slots

Memorey card is not work in a phone

Hello, welcome to Fixya!

The fault is either from the phone or the phone's memory card slot.

Test the memory card on another phone or any other device that uses memory card. If the memor card doesn't work, then it means the memory card is not good. But if the memory card works, it means fault is from the phone.

Get a phone screw driver, disassemble the phone, clean the memory car slot with a tooth brush. This will clear off all particles that maybe preventing the memory card from contacting the phone properly.

The cleaning the memory card slot doesn't help, it means the memory card slot of the phone is defective. It takes only a repairman to fix this fault for you.

I hope the above information is celar.

Regards.

Can you tell me why does my gigabyte ga-7mmxp have a long beep?

It's memory problem.
You should try another RAM module or stick it to another slot.
  1. If the another RAM works - you need new RAM
  2. If the RAM in another slots works - the original slot is destroyed
  3. If any of above works, motherboard RAM slots are destroyed - you should buy new motherboard

Card reader on MSI A6000 doesn't reconize card

Try different cards in the slot, if none of the cards are being recognized then go into the device manager and make sure the card slot drivers are intstalled, if you see something that says pci base device then that means the drivers are not installed.

In that case you need to install the drivers for it. If after you install the drivers the slot still doesn't work then that means the slot is bad and since its built onto the motherboard the motherboard needs to be replaced.

Increasing memory in e-machine t2240

Hi slcdane 13. One thing with DIMM slots is that, first of all they are color coded there. Im assuming that you have 4 DIMM slots and two of them are one color, and the other two are another color. What that means is that is if One DIMM slot has a RAM module of a certain capacity, then the other DIMM slot of the same color has to contain a RAM module of the same capacity as the first module. Now i am assuming that you have more than two RAM modules and More than 2 DIMM slots. HERE IS AN EASIER EXAMPLE
Lets say you have DIMM slots 1, 2, 3, and 4. Slots 1 and 3 are yellow, and slots 2 and 4 are red. Now lets say you also have 4 Ram modules. 2 of them are each 2 Gigabytes ready, and the other 2 are each 1 Gigabyte ready. Now lets say you take one of the 2 Gigabyte RAM modules and you place it into DIMM slot 1 which is yellow, what this means is that you have to place the other 2 Gigabyte RAM module into the DIMM slot 3 which is also yellow. The remaining 1 Gigabyte modules will have to go into DIMM slots 2 and 4 which are red.

Now do you get it? Same capacity modules have to go into same color slots. Now try it and see.
