I plugged the mouse and it doesn't work model Mobile Edge MEAM03

My Mobile Edge MEAM03 Ultra Portable Wireless Optical Mouse doesn't work with Windows Vista. I try to set it to work and it looks like the usb part can't see the wireless mouse

Hi alc03, in your solution for Mobile Edge MEAM03 mouse conection, that is the part that doesn't work. When you push the button in th USB then you push a button under the mouse, well the the ligth keep on flicking and it was supposed to stop. So the mouse never gets conected to the USB part. But thanks anyway.
    PD: The batteries are new.

There is a button on the USB part that is made to connect with the mouse, make sure you have good battery in the mouse and the mouse is light-up and press on the button on usb part and try the mouse. It must connec.

Something is wrong with the mouse, it must connect, its not because your are on Vista, if it doesn't work bring back the mouse, its not an incompatiblity, its a defect with the mouse.

Mouse Problem

First, let's see if the computer is recognizing the mouse. Unplug the mouse, restart the computer, and then re-plug the mouse. Typically, the computer, in the bottom right side of the screen will attempt to re-establish connection to the mouse.

If it does not, then re-downloading the driver for the mouse (if a disc was not provided with it) will help the computer recognize the mouse and the connection.
Hope that helps.

Look through this article and see if any of it helps. http://www.ehow.com/way_5163482_mini-wireless-mouse-instructions.html
Dumb question maybe. You said you replaced batteries. Is the switch also turned "on"? The article says, and I wonder if you tried - rebooting the computer with the mouse turned on and the USB receiver already attached.

its a wireless mouse right, you left only small hint.
battery powered wireless mouse ,.by HP
windows 7
wireless mouse, HP and Samsung.
that takes 2 working drivers to make that work. both HP
the USB side and the mouse side.
HP does not support this on non HP computers so windows 7 is the only hope, MICROSOFT PLUG AN PLAY
you must be connected to the internet or its all just a wasted of time,
do so.
then plug both those things in.
the PC goes Dingdog sound telling you its found a new USB device.called wireless mouse HP, (no model stated)
then tries to find a driver on the web, MS servers for that.
if it can find one, then good luck, doing that. as the HP drivers will not like your PC
as here, if this is possible at all.

HP Wireless optical mouse stopped working

You will need to "pair" it with the receiver.  Look on the receiver and you will find a button.  press it then press the button on the mouse.
Then wiggle the mouse around.  You should see the pointer move.

Mouse pinter is partially moving

I would restart the computer, and if that does not solve the issue, I would replace the mouse.
