VOIP 321 will not work with Windows 7

What is the latest version of driver for VOIP 321 phone 3.8.3.0

There is a connection between the Skype and the phone ie able to see contacts and rings on call but the audio part is not working. Philips are no help. Any new audio drivers that might do the trick?

    Hi,

    sorry for my english...

    I tryed every solution that I found on the web...



    The voip321's programm tell me that the base (box) of the phone is not connect to the computer from usb...



    I tryed by the selection of compatibilty "vista sp2", I tryed changing the usb port... I tryed to unistall and install new time... I used new, old, all driver that I had and I fount on the web...



    Please help me!!!



    I have dual boot, and when I star WINXP it will works good... soo, the phone wors good...!

VOIP 321 is working with windows 7. Install the Vista Software. After that you change compatility under properties (right mouse klick) to windws vista and it works fine regards kurt

Sorry,
now is near to work....
now the base (box) can see the phone... but in the "control pannel" thei are an "!" on the icon of "PHILIPS VOI321". In the propriety they are"Impossibile avviare il dispositivo. (Codice 10)"->"impossible to load the device (cod 10)"...

Soo, when I go in the Skype preference I can't find VOIP 321 (to speaker or mic).
When I go to control pannel and looking in audio preference they aren't no trace of voip321...

Te istery is that the corles can see the skype contact and start a call by skype (baut the speaker and mic does't wors)?!?!

Help me! Please!

Unfortunely, the solution of kbaussi is not useful. The problem is with the drivers, not the software. When you install the Vista software for the phone and change the settings to windows Vista SP2 mode, the device still shows de code 10 error in device manager. It is not possible to select the Philips phone in the Skype audio properties.

It can not work with Windows 7 32bits even the Vista mode has been set. Error code is 10 in Device manager. I asked for help from Philips technical support, they still can not solve the problems.

Have you topped up credit on skype?

dialing code correct uk +44, mobile number +447958475236 ect?

if this does not work look in your manual and reset your phone and try again

Philips 321 voip problem
If you are using this phone with skype and you can't call out and you can't hear when someone calls out, the skype isn't configured properly to use the philips 321.

Philips VOIP 3212
The VOIP321 from Phillips does NOT connect to your wireless router. It requires to be plugged into a USB port on a WINDOWS ONLY desktop computer, which needs to be left on/logged-in with Skype running to send and receive calls. It wont work with Vista either.
Additionally Since Skype Version 3.8.0.188 (Release date: November 19, 2008) and all later versions (including Skype 4 Betas) the software Phillips supply no longer works with Skype and the VOIP321 phone. The latest VOIP321 <a href="http://tinyurl.com/6b2xrp" rel="nofollow">driver from their website</a> suffers the same issue, even though it states "The VOIP321 USB Phone Driver V 3.8.3 which can be downloaded from Philips web site is compatible with Skype software version from V2.0.0.x until V3.8.0.x". This is plainly no longer correct with the latest stable release of Skype, V3.8.0.188.
Skype developers are <a href="https://developer.skype.com/jira/browse/SPA-599" rel="nofollow">unable to do anything about it</a> and Phillips wont update their driver (Quote "... no more development/fixes are being incorporated into the VOIP321.EXE file"). Phillips would probably rather sell you a newer bit of hardware.
Don't waste your time on Phillips Skype phone devices, as their driver support is lacking when Skype is updated, so you buy a product for a few hundred dollars and it becomes useless 12 months later.
Another reason to not purchase the Phillips Skype phones is that it is Windows Only. No Mac or Linux support or drivers offered.

Incompatibility with ACER computers?
Hi, I have the same phone, I also have an ACER laptop and running vista home premium.

I needed to download the vista software package from telephonesonline (it costs for the download) but no problems after that it works great.

The only thing with this particular phone is that if you have a monthly account (skype pro) and you use your package as your regular phone you need to add every phone number you call to your contact list.

I haven't found a soloution to dial out from the phone using skype with out it being in the contacts list.

Contact list not available on voip321 handset
Using Skype 3.8.0.180

Go to Menu-Tools-Options-Advanced and give your voip321 access to skype application.

I had the same problem, solved when I allowed the skype phone to access skype.

Click download for the Vista Drivers. Download the driver to your desktop open the file to install the drivers. Reboot the computer

Plug the VoIP321 back into the computer.
Then on Skype go to Tools then Options.
Click on Advance and manage other programs access to Skype choose allow for the voip321.
