I cant get my cruz tablet r102 to reset what do i do

just click on go to app or website
have got a security app on it I advice to uninstall the security app by going to settings apps then go down to the security app then select it and uninstall if u go a security app on it

That happened to me about 2 hours ago. What i did was take the back piece of (be very carefull) and blow into the back. Then Plug the charger in and turn on the power put or oush the power button. It takes a little time because you have to keep trying. If the back is hot take the back cover off and blow on it also. If that doesnt work send me another message or a reply!

Update your firmware... Go to cruz reader website and follow the directions on updating or downloading firmware... This worked for me... Unlocked and brought cruz back to factory settings good luck

I'm sure you're doing this but go to settings and try turning the check mark so that it shows green. If that doesn't work re-start (always the first step in troubleshooting) and try again.
Now on to the real stuff. If you feel up to it (and you'd like to mess around with computer stuff/ would like to root your device which allows you to do a lot) you should look into slatedroid dot com and then look for adb and usb debugging for the cruz tablet. There is a thorough thread on r101/r102 that goes through everything. Through that you can manually adjust things from your computer. You should be able to troubleshoot and fix wifi problems manually.
If you don't want to do that you can back up your stuff (if you have stuff on it) and reflash the firm ware. To do that go to the cruz website download the firmware (from support) and load it on to the sd. It provides directions. You'd be doing the same thing as if you were to update your firmware. Then simply restore your info and you should have be starting from scratch in terms of wireless settings and any bugs that may have come up.

Press reset hole button using a paperclip, then hold down volume + button until 'Cruz' appears on display. That will reset the tablet.

Normally, with Android devices, if you enter the wrong pattern five times in a row, the device will give you an option to enter your Google account information (e-mail address and password). Once you have done this, it will let you reset your security pattern.
If this doesn't work, the next best thing to try would be a firmware update. The firmware update process will wipe the root of the device (but leave your SD card and books intact), basically resetting it to factory settings, before you even set a security pattern.
