Wont hold a charge turn on flashes less than a sec

I do apologize for the inconvenience that your having with your ds system. my and my husbands son had the same problem. it would hold a charge during or after the charger was on all night... what we found out about ours is that there was a short in the charger cord. we took it to a local gaming store they checked the inside battery charged it there and theunit worked out right. then they check the charger.. now my son always had his laying flat no kinks in it or nothing but when he rapped up the charger when he was playing it there was a kink right where the plug goes into the unit. the best thing i can suggest with all that said is check the cord to make sure there isn't a part more bent then the rest of the cord or take it like we did to a local gaming store to see if they can test it. if you have any more question please let us know.

Are you sure its charging the whole time? it might be falling out and you just dont know it. Check to make sure that the charger stays in the socket and stays hooked up to the ds the whole time. and make sure you charge it long enough, too. Give it extra time just incase. if that doesnt work, you can send it to nintendo, maybe for free, they usually like to pay for that stuff for customer satisfaction purposes. then if they cant fix it, and its still under the warranty, theyll send you a new one for free.
