The lights will only stay on for 10 min. The fan runs ok.

I assume this used to work and fan control by remote is still working<?>. If neither fan nor light work, replace remote batteries and check remote code switch. Else;

If fan has pull chain for light, make sure it has not been turned off. The remote lamp button is toggle ON/OFF so you will need to press lamp ON/OFF more than once every time you pull the light pull chain. Still fails, test light bulb. If known good bulb, the receiver in fan will need removed and tested.

I replaced the battery and confirmed the codes are the same but still nothing. the light comes on and off only by the wall switch. is it likley that the part that holds the code in the ceiling needs to be replaced? the remote shows the red light when depressed so that appears working.

Call Hunter parts @ 1-888-830-1326 with model # of FAN.

Try to find the breaker that controls power going to that fan/light, turn the breaker off, wait 5-10 minutes, then return breaker to the on position, doing so 'may' be able to reset the control board inside the fan itself. If this has no success, the lighting control board is malfunctioning, if still under warranty, you have options outside of replacing the complete fixture.

First You have to check the lamp cooling fan. if the fan didn't run at the correct RPM then the lamp will not get proper cooling and the lamp will get over heated. This will result in termal shutdown. And the tv will go to standby to prevent from burning the lamp. Just replace the fan. If the problem remains after replacing the fan then the problem is wiih lamp blasting circuit. If so you have to replase the lamp blast.

ok I didn't have a receiver with min my sea room I find 8 of tem now sticky part im using a hp receiver on mine.
most hp receiver on 27mhz ban stay away from those. the one you want is a infrared hp model number : OVU400103/00

NOW I RUN MINE ON WINDOWS 10 BUILD 9926 AND IT RUNS LIKE A CHARM.

stay right away from this 27mhz suckers thay will do nothing for it . infect thay wont even work. but hope you find 1 on eBay or somebody will have a broken keyboard but receiver works
