Something needs to be fixed on it. I am more familiar with Resmed products, and the power bricks fail and eventually the motor does too. They have enough smarts in some systems to tell you when things need serviced and replaced.

Unfortunately, the company do not have manuals available to non owners, in order to get one, you need to register and provide the machine Model and Serial no., etc. they claim all the information you need is found on the following site http://www.cpap.com/cpap-faq/Machines.html . I checked the site and under the machine's picture there are some tabs you should browse. They also have videos on how to use and maintain the CPAP machine.
If after checking the site, you still feel you need a manual, click on the CONTACT US tab on the top right of the screen to request one.

You cannot service these units since they are prescription only and the settings on it are customized for you. You can contact the manufacturer or supplier to see what they recommend.

If this is on a CPAP machine, I would not attempt to adjust this myself! The dealer where you got this from would be able to adjust this if it is needed.

Respironics, the manufacturer of the Respironics REMstar Heated Humidifier, has received complaints of failures of the AC inlet connector on the REMstar Heated Humidifiers manufactured between December 2001 and April 2003. A small number of these failures have resulted in thermal damage to the humidifier enclosure, and there is a remote possibility that a thermal failure could result in the ignition of materials external to the device. For this reason, Respironics is asking that you remove the humidifier from its power source. You may continue using your CPAP device.

Respironics has decided to take voluntary action to mitigate the risk of failure. This action includes only the model 1005792, U1005792, R1005792, SC1005792, AC1005792, and 1007861.
This voluntary action is classified as a medical device recall, and is being conducted with the knowledge of the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
