SOURCE: Shift 3 Projection Alarm clock remote cannot open

Once the batteries are installed in the remote the temp will appear in the LED screen. Now you are ready to link signals between the main unit and the remote. Simply remove one of the two triple A batteries from the main unit and then replace. You should then see what appears to be a flashing object shaped like a kite with a tail while the two units link up. Then you should see the temp reading at the remote appear in the LED readout at the main unit. By the way there is also a very small reset at the top of the switches on the back of the main unit that can be depressed with a SMALL pointed object like a scissor point or safety pin point.

Please confirm if this is how you change the timezone.

3. Locate the "+" button on the front of your Hammacher Schlemmer projection clock.

4. Press the "+" button to access the time zone-setting screen. Note that icons for the Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern time zones will appear on the screen.

6. Press the clock's "Mode" button to return your projection clock to its regular timekeeping mode.

Also, try to see if you have a button to reset back everything to defaults then try again.

SOURCE: I have a blue hat toy co. time and space

We also purchased the same alarm clock and I accidentally figured out how to convert to 12 hour (AM/PM) format from 24 hour format. Once the time is set correctly, and you are out of the time set mode, you can press the UP key and it will toggle between the formats.

The projection piece only projects portions of the digits. What can I do to fix it so that all of the digits project appropriately?

I suppose you'd have have to mess around with the lens. If you go to hammacher. com, they can help you. This radio has a lifetime warranty, so it's said

My Hammacher Schlemmer Projection Alarm Clock and Weather Monitor will not project the outside temp. It only projects the inside temp. How do I change? Also, can't change the time zone.

No solution but to return it...very annoying product but yet I like the projected display, very sharp and bright. The replacement was much better, it loses connection with outside transmitter often..but occasionally we see the outside temp

I have an EnVivo projection alarm clock model P1223. I can't find the instructions & cannot turn the alarm off. Help?!

Use Mode button until on the Alarm setting with current time set (for Alarm) flashes. Adjust until the display shows - - : - - (not 00 : 00 as this is Midnight!) the dashes represent No Time Set. The Alarm will disappear from the display denoting Alarm Off. Took a while and many alarm events to find, but it works. This is specifically for the Envivo Alarm Projection Clock 1223.

I need help setting the alarm on my radio controlled digital clock.

1- Turn over your Seth Thomas digital clock. Use your finger to remove the cover to the unit's battery compartment. Insert two AA-size alkaline batteries into the battery compartment and replace the cover. Certain Seth Thomas digital clock units will also have an optional alternate power source in the form of a standard AC power cable that plugs into a wall outlet in your home.

  • 2 Place your Seth Thomas solar-powered digital clock in front of a light source, such as on a window sill or beneath a lamp. The black strip on the top of the unit is the solar sensor, so as long as light is shining down on that strip, your clock will be powered on and ready to use. The sensor stores energy throughout the day so that it can work at night with no direct light contact on the sensor.

  • 3 Press the time zone button that indicates your current time zone. These buttons are located on the back of the unit. For example, if you are in the eastern time zone select the "EST" button. Turn the unit back over. It will now be displaying the correct time on its digital screen.

  • 4 Use the "Alarm" switch (if applicable) to enable and disable the clock's alarm. Press the "Alarm" button, followed by the "Hour" and "Minute" buttons, to set the appropriate alarm time based on your needs. Use the "Alarm HI LO" switch to set the volume for the alarm.

  • 5 Press the "Weather" button to tune your Seth Thomas digital clock to its built-in local weather radio station (if applicable). Certain Seth Thomas clocks have this radio weather functionality built in, while others don't. If yours does, the aforementioned "Weather" button will be located on the front of the unit.
