Hello NW,

Soap is only siphoned off when using a low setting or nozzle.

If you have interchanging nozzles, it's usually the black one. Look for the one with the widest opening.

On adjustable wands, use the lowest pressure setting.

Everything else is automatic.

Best regards
Mike

Not sure about the McCulloch , but most pressure washers will only draw the soap in low pressure mode. either turn or pull the nosel on the end of the lance to switch to low pressure. I hope this helps.

How to get soap to come out of dispenser of mcculloch power washer fhh 18a

Most people make the mistake of using a high pressure tip on their power washer while trying to get the soap dispenser to work. These tips are usually red, green, white or yellow and they cause too much back pressure at the dispenser for it to work. You need to use the soap tip, they're usually black, for the dispenser to work properly.

Can't get soap to feed into system

I have a SIMONIZ S2000 electric. I bought the unit about 8 weeks ago used it once. On the second use yesterday the unit didn't work as well, the pressure seemed only a bit better than hose pressure and soap did not dispense at any pressure. SO.... after much thought I turned the hose/tap pressure down so that I only got about 2-3 GPM instead of the typical 5-6GPM normally coming out of my hose....... it worked! Soap dispenses and spay is way better! It seems that if if the inlet hose pressure is high the pump doesn't work as well... go figure.

What are the steps to use Mc Culloch FHH18A powerwasher? What is the liquids I should use?

Hello awseibel:
  1. attach your garden hose to the inlet (at the back I believe)
  2. Attach high pressure hose with gun wand/nozzle
  3. turn on the water
  4. plug into electrical outlet
  5. turn on/off switch on
  6. spray away
  7. Any non-caustic soap can be used
  8. You must set the machine on low pressure to apply soap.

No soap comming out of my power washer

Hi,

I had the same problem on the same unit. All you need to do is pull out the front tip of the gun nozzle to engage the soap dispenser. It's as simple as that, but because there is only a tiny footprint mention of this in the instructions, it turns out to be a long drawn out problem for many of us. Hope this helps.

My power washer does not let the soap come out when you turn the soap control on

You have to use the SOAP nozzle (Black Tip)  It is a low pressure nozzle.  The venturi effect prevents the psiphon under high pressure
