SOURCE: when print button is pressed my printer prints a tiny font

Are you printing from file or through a browser . If its later then its almost certainty that the fonts have been reduced in browser. You can go to File - > Page setup and check if scaling is option is 100 %. This will ensure that your page will print as it is displayed on screen. Hope this helps!!

I'd suggest reinstalling your printer driver.

But, there are known problems with IE8. I would suggest uninstalling IE8:

Windows 7 gadgets working wrong

You dont need side bar anymore, rightclick anywhere on desktop and goto gadgets, Add the ones you want, put them where you want (side, top, anywhere) and thats your gadgets as they were in vista.

If you have installed Windows 7 beta then you must be aware of the bug that whenever UAC is switched off, Sidebar and Gadgets in Vista fails to display properly on Windows 7 Desktop. Though this is not for every machine but many users have reported this problem that their Sidebar and Gadgets are not working properly.
For older beta versions of Windows 7 there had been some temporary workarounds for the same problem. But if you are using Win7 Build 7000.0.081212 then this can be fixed using a simple registry hack which like in Vista will Elevate your Sidebar and Gadgets Process.
If you know how to play with you registry Editor then just open regedit.exe from Run command in Windows 7 and go to KEY
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
\CurrentVersion\Sidebar\Settings From there edit the DWORD value of AllowElevatedProcess and set it to 1. You don’t need to restart your Windows 7 computer after this. If your sidebar and Gadgets were not working properly earlier then they will be fixed instantly.

I turned on my PC one day, and sidebar just decided not to go. I dont know why or how to fix the problem. I went to do a system restore, but noticed i had no system restore points set.....can anybody help...

Having a sidebar problem would indicate you're using Windows Vista, so I'm going to go from there. Microsoft has had a lot of problems with the sidebar feature, and has dropped it in Windows 7. I strongly recommend that you turn it off and leave it off. You can get things you need for your desktop without using the sidebar.

As far as the restore points go, you should have several set up automatically, but since you don't do the following:

Click on the start button, then find "Computer" (or My Computer) in the right column. RIGHT click on Computer, then left click on Properties. This brings up the System window. Select System Protection from the column on the left side of the window (Task List). Click the CREATE button near the bottom of this window to create a restore point.

Give the Restore Point a unique name of your choosing.

Of course this won't help you now, so I would shut off the Sidebar and try to live without it. Otherwise, go to the Control Panel, find the sidebar icon and click it. Set it to open the sidebar when you start Windows. You may need to reset your preferences to get it back to what you wanted.

If this doesn't work, you probably have some type of Malware or virus on your system. The best way to check for this is to go to the following web page: www.malwarebytes.org - and download the program using the blue button. Install it (click RUN) and update it, then let it run a scan (follow the instructions). Once it's done, restart your system and see if it's fixed.

Usually, restoring your system for a sidebar problem really isn't a useful or good way to resolve the issue. For one thing, on some systems, the sidebar seems to randomly decide not to work, and on others it seems to cause other system problems. I've seen very few Vista systems that did not improve with the sidebar feature shut off.

It's important with Vista to be very particular about keeping the Malware off the system, and keeping the registry clean. Using CCleaner.exe is a good way to do this. Clean the registry at least once a week, and do NOT defrag more than two times a year. Vista seems to not appreciate too much defragging. Keeping your system healthy and shutting off the sidebar are two of the best solutions for most Vista problems. Finally, I recommend you upgrade to Windows 7 as soon as possible. Even the RC-1 is better than Vista.

Breo Roam Sports watch - No Instructions

hey, know it's a while since you posted and you may not need it anymore, only saw this yesterday looking for an answer myself and couldn't find one any where, however just figured it out.
you need some thing with quite a small point like a fairly sharp pencil to depress the buttons fully. just pressing the M button will display the date, to adjust the date and time press the A button, first press allows you to change the month, second press the date, third press the hour and fourth press the minute. when you are on the one you want to change use the M button to scroll through the numbers. hope this is helpful.

CE 0560 Logiech went dead, batteries are ok, just stopped working

By now you've got your problem fixed or you've bought a new mouse, but I had the exact same thing today. I tried everything you did, then I found a crazy solution that suddenly worked. I haven't a clue know whether it'll work for anyone else, but here it is:

When "connecting" the cordless mouse to the transmission unit (ie, enabling them to work together) you go ahead and first press the "Connect" button on the transmitter first. (I'm sure everybody knows that.) But the trick for me was that when I then pushed the small white connect button on the bottom of the mouse, I finally used a ballpoint pen (retracted) to make that white button really engage. That did it for me. My finger was just too soft to make that little white button on the mouse engage properly. The second I pressed firmly with the pen, hallelujah!, it worked.

I hope that works for you. Cheers!
