My sansa mp3 player does not want to open,when I put in my PC it says its failling to install

Also make sure you are connected to a 2.0 usb the back of the computer is best (the motherboard).... USB mode located on the sansa if asked to change to MSC goto menu press enter scroll to settings press enter scroll to usb mode press enter scroll to msc press enter press menu.....Connect should auto start sansa software..... if the pictures are on the PC ....... connect the mp3 (usb) go to my computer open the MP3 , go to start again and my computer open the c drive and find the photos........... click and drag or copy and paste to MP3

Hi,follow the instruction.

Install the sandisk mp3 player software onyour PC,
connect the USB cable to the phone and to the PC,
Go to the my computer on your desktop open,
and you will see the mp3 player folde,
Open and you will view all data inside the mp3 player,
Delete any file you will want to delete.
And also if you want to put back data inside,you can use the same procedure.

plug in the music player to the pc with usb a cable then open my computer and double click removable drive then copy paste the songs which u want to transfer to the player and then safetly remove the device and enjoy the song which u get in the portable player

most of the mp3 players are recognized without installation cd itself.
please answer me the following questions
1. are you using your mp3 player for the first time in your computer or you uninstalled the software and lost the cd .

2. what happens (or shown )in the screen of the player when you connect the device to your pc

On your sansa, go to "Settings" then System Settings" then "USB Mode," then change it to MSC, if that does not work, try the other modes, just in case.

Try this,put it in MSC mode,Plug into your computer,open My Computer,(The player will show as a drive)Open up the player,open the folders and delete what you want deleted.Then when you want to add more songs,Open it the same way as above and drag and drop them.You do NOT need to use a media player to load or remove items.And Please rate this solution.

For pics and video you must install the program from Sansa called Media Converter.

I'm not an expert, but I do have a Sansa e250, too. Sounds like you need to download a Sansa Media Converter.

Once that is downloaded and installed, open it, plug your Sansa into the computer by USB cable, click "Add media". Then you should see a window that says "Add media" Select the media you want to put on your Sansa. Once the media is added, then click "Convert". After it is finished converting, it should be on your Sansa. Hope that helps!

i download an update from the site that solve this to me. but in another time, mine only works when it's plugged to pc,then open the device and cut the tiny battery that have inside (CR621 or something like this) it was shorted.
