Ignition switch damaged by vandals on motor scooter. How do I replace. The product category is Peugeot motor scooter ( not as described below) I had to get through somehow.

Harness has worn through on frame somewhere or harness plug is loose somewhere. Check back through the power to ignition switch then light switch etc. Work methodically.

The seat is raised by using the key in the ignition switch. Turn the key to the rightmost position. You will hear the seat latch pop. Lift up on the seat, and there you are.

This is very easy to replace. Had to replace my ignition switch on my 96 ford explorer ... Just went to Auto Zone got the switch, which was cheap and then changed it. Has instructions with it, but there is a tiny hole on the steering wheel column that you need something small to fit in and there is a spot you need to push in there, may have to wiggle around to find it, you will know when you find it and the ignition will pop out and then just pull it out, take the new one line it up and pop it in. Job done. :)
