5 1/2 qt.crock-pot slow cooker received as gift before Christmas 2006. Do not have purchase receipt. Can part be replaced at store (Linens N ///things)?
I have had the same problem. Spoke to rival customer service and they no longer sell replacement lids for model number SCE502. I've read to take the screw from the knob to a hardware store and then find a knob which will fit it.
Someone else suggested that if the knob is mostly intact, ask hardware store for araldite glue

I purchased "Fitz-All" replacement pot knobs (two replacement knobs Model # 581) for $3.99 and $2.92 S&H (total $ 6.91) from www.Goodman.net (305) 278-8822. My rival lid is now better than original. The knobs come 2 in a package. Jim

I have a Rival 37601 slow cooker and the knob to the lid just broke off leaving pieces in my big batch of chicken noodle soup when I flipped the lid over so it would fit in my fridge overnight. Can I just buy a replacement knob? I have only owned this for a few months and love it.
