I don't have a switch on my computer. They say I have to look at the manual for a function key combination. But I can't find any.
Does someone know how to fix this problem.
Or does someone know the function key combination?
I had the same problem, but I solved it by hitting the f2 key alone (w/out the function key). when i keyed them at the same time the wireless did not toggle on/off
On the dell typically you need to press the 'FN" key and the wireless icon button. It look like a tower with wavy lines on top of it. If my memory serves me correctly it is on the upper left side the color will be blue. You will press the FN key then the wireless internet key. I provided a image for ya. The function keys are Fn + F2 at the same time. You need to press Fn key next to space bar and then F2 at the same time, Wireless will be switched on
I have the same prob with dell 1564.

The wireless radio combination should be the Fn+F2 keys to activate it. That is to hold down Fn and hit the F2 key.
