Sony Grand Wega 60 inch LCD Projection TV goes dark and then back on every few minutes. The power light remains solid green the entire time. Is this the lamps going bad? It is about 3 years old with original lamps. Thank you!

my 60 inch sony wega tv will shut off on its own after the tv has been on for like 30 min then the screen goes dark but the tv light is still on so what can i do?
It sounds like you may have a failing power supply. It could also be that a connecting cable from one of the PCBs is coming loose. You can try reseating all the connectors to see if that helps. As for the power supply, you may have difficulty troubleshooting an intermittent problem, and should probably refer a problem of that nature to a professional technician.

The problem is ht leakage . remove the ultar cap of the tube and clean both the tube and cap with wd 40. then reinstall cap using some silicon glue.
this will correct your fault.
