I would like to donate my HP Deskjet 4180, but need to clear memory first, but do not know how. Do i just need to reset to factory settings? Thank you in advance - Diane

I dont know if this will work but its worth a try. If you have a cable to connect the phone to your computer and the relevant software then try to copy the contents of the memory card to your computer and then format the card. I hope this works. Good luck.

usually setting your computer to a date before the expiration date of the cartridge. If your printer has a date function try this first on your printer.

I had the same issue with the same phone. By pure luck, I tried the last 4 digits of the phone number last used on the phone and it worked!
