SOURCE: minn kota problem
Same deal with mine, was using it with no problems until I turned up the trust alittle and it just quit, never turned back on nor did the circuit breaker pop. Talked to Minn Kota thy said the board might be fried as well. So took it to a authorized dealer. I had 2 issues (only minor with the motor) Easy fix for mine was under the button on the foot pedal is a small round magnet about half the size of a pencil in diameter or so. The tech said it got recessed down to far and if it should happen again just pull it up again. So took it back home re-installed and no luck, just heard a tiny ticking noise from the foot pedal, no prop movement. SO I checked the batteeries, all good. Even though the connectons had very minor corrosion I decided to disconnect all and clean them. Re-connected them and now I am back in business. Dont understand it, but hey it works until I actually test it out on the lake. Hope it helped

SOURCE: I need Minn Kota Power Drive operators Manual
I'm installing a Minn Kota Power Drive 70# on my Crestliner Fishhawk. I understand the 24 volt system. however the boat has 2 black, an orange and a red wire running to the batteries. I know black to neg. but where do the orange and red wires go.
SOURCE: i have a minn kota deckhand 35 that wont wind up.
Solution- Take the cover off the Deckhand 35 by Minn Kota. Inside is a motor drive. Remove the cover plate held in place with 4 screws. inside are nylon gears, most likely broken. The gears can be replaced with a Minn-Kota Deckhand Gear Repair Kit.
I found mine on the web at Northland Marine.com it's about $24.00 for the kit, plus shipping.
Good Luck!
SOURCE: how do i extend my battery cable on my minn kota
You can purchase a battery extender cable. Depending on how far you need to go, you can buy them in various lengths. I've done the same and bought a 15' extension (always buy a few more feet than you think you need). Many places carry this. I bought mine at BassProShops for $25.00 and it comes with fuses which help to make sure you never fry your motor or battery!
