My screen for my samsung u900 soul is blank and so is the touchpad i can still recieve calls and texts and send them but i cannot see the actual screen . the screen just suddenly stopped working and now i dont know what to do please help!

change flex or strip of your phone.at your nearest service shop.if your located in chennai call me .9710545009

-check message settings>message center number correct it then message validity period set to maximum time,
-call settings>caller I.D. settings set to network default.
-if still not working, reset all settings.

did you dropped the phone? if not i think there is a problem on it, you need to send it in for service.

there is a box there that will be ticked for delivery report. UNcheck that.

i wouldnt call this a problem so much as a slight inconvenience, it just means you have to go thru one more screen before you get to your phonebook, if you dont want to have to scroll down to the option everytimejust press the number 4 one your keypad. there are otherways to avoid this. from the main screen got to addr. book find the contact and under options select send msg.

in short there is no way to turn this feature off or change the numbers.

you have to go to service center of samsung becouse your phone is in warrenty so they will fix your phone free

Go into a new text message and hit the "send to" option. Scroll down to the first name above the line and hit the "options" button. Scroll down and select "Recent messages" and choose whoever from that list that you'd like to be your top 3. I actually just sent all three of mine a blank text, but when I went back to the "send to" list voila! MORE INFO: I tried all kinds of things to remove names from my top three recipients list. What ended up working was to send a text to multiple recipients at once. Two was enough. But it was important who I selected first. I sent a message to my wife and my friend. My wife's name got added back to my top three! Then I reversed and sent a message to my friend and to my wife. His name got added back!

When sending text messages on the samsung soul u900 there is a tone sounds for every message sent, can this be disabled and is so how do you disable it, its so annoying!!!

Is this a tone that is played when the screen says 'message sent'?
If so try editing your profiles. In the menu for every profile (with the exception of silent i think) there is an option for phone sound volume. Try putting that to zero......

If its the one that plays becuase you ask for a delivery report of a sent message then you cant silence that without silencing all text messages.
