No sound When I first plugged in the brand new speakers they worked fine. After two hours I lost all sound from the speakers. I unplugged the speakers and the laptop speakers work. The laptop speakers work now even with the v20 speakers plugged into the usb. The buttons on top the speaker to control windows media player all function. I am stumped and alone in Costa Rica please help.

    Status is device is working properly, although it wont pump out sound. If I were still in the states I would take them back to Best Buy and try another set. Not possible from where I am. Is there a different driver I can download to try?

    I was looking for a site to download a driver from logitech without success. Bummer, I was looking forward to decent sounds in this otherwise sterile apartamento I am in.

    Sometimes its good to be out of walmart and mickey d land, othertimes it is sure handy.

    Hello, I have the V20 speakers and they will work for a while and stop.

    My computer will not recognize the speakers in the USB port. While I can can control the volume via V20 buttons there is no sound. Was there a format disk that should have come with the speakers? I have tried a re-start and un-plug yet without results.

    Rouso!

    I first got my speakers for Christmas, 2007. They were awesome I was so happy. Later in the day they stopped putting out sound. They worked 3 more times after that but never again no matter how many times I restart the computer. My computer says that the USB is working properly & the speakers light stay on but no sound at all.

    Just got them few hours ago and all of a sudden the sound from the speakers stopped. I tried uninstalling the driver but the problem persists. Don`t know what to do.

    I bought these refurbed off eBay ....they worked fine for about 9 months and last night they quit. They light up and if I unplug them the laptop speakers work and the laptop recognizes them but ...no sound.

    Oh well...bummer. When they were working they were great.

    Second set. Same problem. Very frustrating. Logitech needs to do something about this. If you go to their forum there is a topic about this with over 5 pages of complaints. Apparently it's a compatability problem that Logitech refuses to resolve. I'm returning mine again and getting a refund. I will never deal with Logitech again.

Make sure you've got your V20's set as the default sound playback device.
Control Panel -->
Sounds and Audio Devices -->
Tab 'Audio'; select 'Logitech USB Speaker' in the dropdown list in the first item on the tab.

just a thought...

Check in your device manager that you have installed the driver successfully.
1st go to control panel
2nd click on system
3rd click on properties
4th...on device manager and select it and see the status!

Yaesu FT-710 Headphones Not Muting speaker

Inside the headphone socket there is a small lever that disconnects the feed to the speakers. When working normally, you would still get sounds in the headphones or sound from the speaker. Try spraying some switch contact cleaner into the socket to clean that switch.

I suspect you have not plugged them back into the correct socket. The plug is coloured green and therefore should go back into the green socket. you have probably plugged it back into the blue or pink sockets. Use a torch to check that is in the green one.

googled the same exact prob. and found this forum. after reading through the postings to get some ideas, I went back to my speaker set and unplugged the serial port that hooks up to the remote. blew on the connector and plugged it back in and VIOLA! I got sound from the left speaker again! Must be my awesome, smelly breathe that woke up the left speaker....
