ERROR CODES; FAULTS & REMEDY ERROR DISPLAY [IE]
Inlet error.
Condition: Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply.
Possible causes:

1. The Water Tap is not opened.
2. The Inlet Hose is twisted.
3. The Filter of inlet valve clogged by impure water.
4. The Inlet Water Valve is normal ?
5. The water pressure is very low. ( below 0.5 kgf/ )
6. Inlet valve is blocked by safety device for leakage sensing.(In case of Inlet Valve).

Remedy

• Open the Water Tap.
• Repair the Inlet Hose.

1.Close the Water Tap.
2.Unscrew the Inlet Hose (Inlet Valve side)
3.Clean the Filter of Inlet Valve.
> Replace or repair the Inlet Valve.
> Check the water remain on the base.
1.Check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts.
2.Disconnect the inlet hose to dishwasher to unlock the safety valve.
ERROR DISPLAY [OE]
Drain error.
Condition: Not fully drained out in spite of 5 min. drain operation.
Possible causes:

1. The Filter clogged.
2. The Drain Hose twistec or blocked.
3. The Drain Pump/Motor or circuit is troubled.

Remedy

• Clean the Filter.
• Remove the cause of twist or block.
• Replace the Drain Pump/Motor or repair the Circuit.

ERROR DISPLAY [E I ]
Leakage error.
Condition: The water level in Tub goes down during operation.
Possible causes:

1. Water leakage in Hose connections.
2. Water is leaked by damages.
3. Impeller of the washing Pump is worn away.
4. The Thermal Protector of the washing motor is functioned

Remedy

• Replace the connections of Hose.
• Check the point of damages and repair or replace the related parts.
• Replace the washing pump.
• Check the applied voltage.

ERROR DISPLAY [ F E ]
Excess error.
Condition: Excessive water is supplied than normal water level.(Automatically drain Pump operated.).
Possible causes:

1. The Inlet Valve is troubled.
2. The Air Break is troubled.
3. The Sensor Assembly is troubled.
4. The Controller is troubled.

Remedy

• Replace the Inlet Valve.
• Replace the air breaker.
• Replace the sensor assembly.
• Repair or replace the controller.

Well, it would help to know the make and model... on a Samsung the E8 code means the water hoses are connected to the wrong taps (i.e. the hot hose is hooked to the cold tap and vice-versa).

If it's not a Samsung, please provide more info.

the water intake solenoid valve has failed
or the control board is not able to open it

i would check there it voltage at the solenoid 2 pins {mains here 120 or 240 v}
this opens the water in

if you have no voltage at the valve
then the controller board has an issue

or the door isnt detected as closed

some machines do a self test so
is there an actual error code
tap closed is no inlet

all valves have a small filter on the inlet side

use a pair a flat nose plyers too pull the filter cone out
and give it a clean


other than this the valve has failed or is seized

sounds like low water pressure, check the supply hose is not kinked

Open the tap with frother spout off. This happened to mine and I took the frother tip off and opened tap with tip off. Water filled and I closed tap...Machine returned "Ready". I heated water in microwave for three minutes- placed frother tip in hot water and all kinds of gunk came out. Lesson learned- Do a thorough cleaning of frother by immersing it in very hot water at least once monthly- even if you don't use it

The tap is the dial on the left turn it, then it will turn the tap off. If it is repeating this then it may need to be decalcified.

This is a VERY difficult situation for us at FixYa to REMOTELY diagnose your symptoms. The service engineer is actually there looking at, and testing, the machine!
I will explain what the 4E and DE normally indicate and what normally to do about them ;-0)

4E Water supply error. (should clear pressing star/pause button if everything is OK)

If you have checked that the hot and cold water taps are turned on fully and the hoses are not kinked or squashed at the back, it is worth while checking both the hot and cold water inlet filters. Turn the taps off and remove both hoses at the washer end. Inside each inlet port there is normally a little filter which should just slide out. Clean if necessary and replace each one and the hoses. If after turning the taps back on there is no improvement, the problem is symptomatic of a malfunctioning hot or cold water control valve. Sorry but it needs a service call and a check that it isn't the control PCB ;-0(

'DE' stands for Door Error.(should clear once the door is closed properly)

There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(
