I installed the Futura SES 1000 software and set up the machine. It gives a "connection error" stating machine is not connected to the laptop. I have Visa 32-bit. Do I need a patch?
I also installed this software on another computer with windows 98 and it works fine.

If you applied wrong patches you will have to uninstall Futura, reboot, install from the beginning the basic version and then apply an update 3.0.0.9

Go through these post's..hope you find the answer,but it seems that Singer is not up to speed with the new Win 7 O/S.

Make sure you're plugging the USB cable
from the machine into a USB port in the BACK of your computer, not
one of the front ports or a port on a USB hub. The cable and machine
need more power than most of those ports provide, a technical detail
that Singer doesn't realize. Good luck!
