Epson PX700W had a paper jam. The jammed paper was removed, but the warning remains and the printer will not progress beyond the warning. I have checked every access point - and there is defintely no paper jammed now. I have turned the printer off/on - no difference. Would appreciate any advice on how to reset the printer.
Be certain that you have removed the tiny pieces of paper from the scanner glass and cleaned that as well.
Although you removed the paper jam, here are some other hints, just in case:

Hope this helps.
For Epson PX700W, you must select Restore Factory Settings (or Restore Default Settings) in the Setup menu.
Have a great day!
Ok I was going to recommend you check all access points, under the rolls, everywhere for any trapped piece of paper but you did that - What I would like you to try is feeding a paper - insert a paper and press the feed button so it goes through the rolls without printing anything - Still won't let you ? Try turning off the printer but this time UNPLUG IT from the wall and wait around 3 minutes, plug it back in and turn on - this should reset your printer - try also restarting your computer.
If this does not work let me know for further instructions.
Unplug it for about 10 minutes and plug it back in

Hi,
No luck - turned off and left for an hour. Made no difference....
Hi,
Unplugging makes no difference.
The problem is that the warning shows immediately on powering up and no opeartions are allowed other than 'turn off'. So it's not possible to feed a page through.
Cheers
Hi,
I can't do this as I can't get to the setup menu. When I power up, I get the paper jam warning and I am not allowed to progress further - no other menus or menu options are presented, no other buttons have any affect.
Thanks
John
Did u manage to clear paper jam ? I have the same problem can't get rid of it!!!
