That depends on the camera. If the camera supports Sandisk Micro, then the SD card will fit into a slot. The slot is often located near to the battery.

You will just have to push card in and camera will automatically read card.

If camera does not read the card, ensure that the camera model can support SanDisk Micro, and that it will also support card size. Older cameras do not support big memory card (eg.4Gb)

Quite simple, insert the micro card into its sd adapter, and insert it as if it were a regular card (note that you need the Micro to Sd adapter, which is not the one in the picture)

You place the smaller card inside the adapter, then you place the adapter in the camera, so that they are both inside the camera (the smaller card inside the adapter)

Hello,
Look at the size of the slot. The microSDHC fits inside the adapter. If the slot is small you extract the smaller card and insert in the slot. If the slot is a regular SD slot, you put the micro SD card inside adapter and plug adapter in tthe SD slot.

The moral of the story is that the card can be used two ways:without adapter, and with adapter. That is called versatility.

Hope it helps.

What is your operating system? What is your card file system? If your operating system support FAT file system then check your memory card reader. If all is ok then try it with your data cable of your phone.

SOURCE: my computer won't detect my sandisk microSDHC

Sandisk have their special port in your computer. Normally in the form of the plus and play ports. you just can't insert your Sandisk in a port with different size.

Locate in front of your desktop for an opening so you will be able to insert. Otherwise, maybe your computer does not have it and you need to secure a USB external Sandisk port approximately $8 or so. Fry's electronics is good at it. ask them!!

Scandisk memory card keeps saying error

Some cameras will not work with the larger flash cards. Also the SDHC requires an adapter that accepts the high density. Many built into the computers do not accept the high density and will demand they be formatted. Verify the requirements of the devices you have for compatibility.

Where do i put it in my lap top

It depends on whether your laptop supports SDHC, microSDHC, or neither.

1. Supports MicroSDHC: check on the manual the position of the MicroSDHC slot.

2. Only supports SDHC: you need to purchase an adapter - essentially a full-size SDHC with a slot where the MicroSDHC goes. Plug the micro card in the adapter, plug the adapter+card into the SDHC slot.

3. Neither: you need to purchase both a micro-to-SDHC adapter and a SDHC-to-USB reader (usually SDHC in supported in most "XYZ-in-1 readers", like Quanta 32-in-1 USB reader - check out "SDHC USB reader" in eBay, for example).

SanDisk microSD/microSDHC card not working for my computer

Hi there!!!

I can understand your issue..

When you say if you connect the card into phone and connects to the computer and gets an error message as I/O drive error then i'd say the file format in the card is not recognized by the computer.

I'd suggest you to format the card through the computer. Here is the steps :

1) Open My Computer
2) Right-clicking on Removable Disk
3) Select Format, select the checkbox for "Quick Format".

Hereby check this screen shot

Canon a95 camera not found in my new hp laptop to download pictures from camera to laptop with windows vista . disk downloaded the sorftware just fine and it brings up the zoombrowser. Do I need a special...

If you installed the disc that came with your camera into Vista and it still does not recognize the camera when you plug in your USB cable, one quick solution to get the pictures off of your card would be to purchase a card reader (approx. $20 here in the states). That is assuming that the computer does not have one built in. If it does, open the battery door on the camera with the camera off, and press on the card to eject it, put the microSDHC card into the SD adapter and plug that into your card reader into the SD slot. From there you should be ready to go.
