I am having problem assembling samsung lcd monitor 2033.the moniter and the base doesn't join...

this problem can occur cause of two cases 1 problem with LCD panel (replacement can solve) 2 power failure in side moniter (repairing moniter can solve)

You need to install the driver for your samsung sync master 2033, so the the graphics will improve or updated.

I would take it back right away, when electronics break down in lees than 6 months it is not a good sign. Get the replacement or have it fixed under warranty.

You can buy a "Y" cable at Radio Shack that will do the job.

You must buy the speakers separately. When you do... they will connect tot eh CPU box

try to set the frequency, if you are using XP, right click on you desktop, >properties>settings>advance>list all modes then select modes that fits your monitor.... or it has something to do with your video adapter

The solution is that you simply have to really force the monitor onto the base post. Thanks anyhow.

I bought a Samsung 2033sw Monitor and I couldn't get the base attached to the monitor. When I returned it to Best Buy their "geek"
technicians discovered after opening another new monitor that
the spindle was attached to the monitor at the factory. But on
the monitor that I had problem with, the spindle was simply
put in the box along with the base plate. Best Buy solved the problem by disassembling the monitor itself and then installed the complete base assembly. You should return your monitor and asked the sales associate or manager to let you see another new monitor. The only thing you need to attached to the monitor is the round base plate.

its time for u poeple to buy a new moniter .....or get it repaired by a prof tecnician.....the electrons which bambard on the picture tube at a point of time they become weak...n they loose there capacity......so the moniter starts dim and after wards when the moniter heats up it get fine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
