SOURCE: Dell Inspiron 640M left touchpad key on palmrest has lost its action

You can check the manual at support.dell.com. Click on 'Product support' on the left and click manuals. Choose your model and click 'view html'. click Palmrest. and it will show you how to reinstall it or get underneath the keys. If it seems defective, you can get the palmrest (which includes the keys and touchpad) from dell's spare parts sales at 877372335.

SOURCE: mx5000 keyboard - Not all the keys are responding

I had a similar problem after about 6 months of use with this combo. It didn't bother me for a long while then more keys started to go. What I did to fix it was. I took the keyboard apart and using tissue paper and rubbing alcohol I cleaned all the contact points on the thin sheet of plastic that makes it all work. Put it back together and it worked great, in fact it still works and this was over 4 years ago. I hope this helps. And remember don't be scared you can fix it.

SOURCE: Touchpad has no tap, left key not working.

Hi there,
I had this issue and resolved it by doing the following:
-Open the start menu by using the windows button
-Use the arrow keys to highlight run and press enter
-Type 'control panel' and press enter, find the mouse properties and enter
-From the buttons tab in mouse properties, go to double click speed and change to slow and confirm the changes
-At this point it probably still wont work, so do the above again but change the double click settings to fast and confirm.
-Restart your PC and this should resolve the matter. you can alter the double click speed again if you wish :)

Hope this helps,
tbo

SOURCE: Space bar, left-side enter key and backspace do not respond.

Try buying a can of compressed air and cleaning around those areas if you have spilled liquid on them ,that could be the prob as well

SOURCE: Keystation 61 key won't play

Most of these use conductive rubber pills that are pressed onto circuit board traces by the keys.

Clean the board AND the pills with 99% isoprophyl alcohol and QTips.

I have three keys getting malfunctioned /cords not changing in left side, on split board.can this be fixed?

If those keys work normally, it's hard to see how the key switches themselves can be bad.
Is your keyboard MIDI capable? If you play the same chords, does the MIDI output look OK?
Could it be that your keyboard simply can't play all of the different sounds at the same time? I know some are limited in how many simultaneous tones can be played.

How do you work 2006 street glide push button key fob

1 long push on the remote turns it on and 2 quick clicks turn it off.
Disarming function may require practice. The key fob button must be pressed twice within 1.5 seconds to send the disarm command. The action is very similar to double-clicking a computer mouse. Light quick taps work best; very hard or very slow taps are less likely to work. The key fob sends a RF signal to activate all remote TSSM functions. The left front turn signal switch wire serves as the vehicle's antenna. If the TSSM does not respond (no confirmation at arming/disarming system) or responds weakly (limited range, won't consistently arm/disarm or synchronize),

Verify key fob battery voltage is at least 2.9 volts. Replace the key fob battery every 2 years.

Interference from physical surroundings may affect RF transmission. Place the fob next to left hand grip and disarm with two clicks or move the motorcycle to a new location and try again.

Check for damage to antenna wire. Does left turn signal work?

After a battery disconnect, the TSSM will not enter the configuration mode on the first attempt. All attempts to assign a fob or enter the configuration mode will require at least two attempts.

The TSSM system uses batteries in the key fob and siren. These are the only parts requiring periodic maintenance.

Battery Replacement
Open the key fob case, place a thin blade between the 2 halves of the case, slowly twist the blade remove and replace battery positive + side down, use a Panasonic 2032 or equivalent, align the case and circuit board, snap the case halves together, while standing next to the motorcycle, press and hold the key fob button for 10 to15 seconds until the security system responds with two turn signal flashes/siren chirps.

Ok i was playnig on my celviano ap-620 and then 8 of the keys started to sound rare, very loud, it seems like it lost the key touch sensivility on those keys from the center (C) and 8 keys down i tried...

What has happened is that one signal wire of the matrix that scans the keyboard has opened up. Each key has two contacts. One closes before the other and that is how they measure key velocity to control the loudness for piano sounds for example. When one contact doesn't work, often the sound is set to MAXIMUM key velocity resulting in MAX loudness. The key contacts are scanned digitally in groups of usually 8 or 12 and, for instance, every C key has a single line attached and then every group of 8 or 12 has a second line and then there are two complete sets of these to implement the velocity sensing. Your unit probably has either a break in a cable or possibly a cable connector that has failed or not seated OR worst case, the circuit board under the keys has a crack breaking one wire or circuit trace going to that section of the keys. The problem will require opening the keyboard to repair. If you are not electronically adept, besst to take this to a repair shop.

Volume on the piano is less than half the volume it should be. Demo and play along songs play at full volume but keyboard wont no matter how hard the key is pressed, Is there a fix for this...

Pianos do NOT respond to keys pressed hard... they respond to FAST presses. If you have an issue with the piano, first go on record to activate your warranty. Most of these electronics DO have a setting that adjusts the "feel" which affects the loudness versus key velocity... Now here is a secret??? Shh... The manufacturers turn up the demos just like the advertisers turn up the commercials on the TV... I would suggest looking for the adjustment of feel, and if that doesn't get satisfactory results, find another and compare yours to another... if yours is still underperforming, exercise your warranty for repair or replacement.

A few of the flat key get stuck on the right hand. On the lower left a few the sound are loud no matter how soft you try a play. Can this be fixed?

I am sure it can be fixed. Who knows what brand or type of instrument this is...

The stuck keys are probably mechanical sticking. The loud keys are probably dirty key contacts that sense velocity.

Take unit in for servicing.
