Sharp LC-32SB24U 32in LCD TV -- Power LED blinks green

The power LED will blink green. By pressing the power button and holding it , after 5 seconds the power led turns red.
Pressing the power button again powers up the TV, the power led goes amber, the display comes up, with a Channel 47, the sound comes up but the in 2 seconds it shuts off the display. I am unable to change channels, sound volume or menu. The sound remains on for another 2-3 seconds, then the relay inside clicks and turns off the TV completelly. The power LED goes blinking green again.

Problem With the Sharp TV LC-32SB23U 32in LCD TV Serial No# 810825838

Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

I have a sharp aquos lc-c4677un its not turning on at all now. When I push the power botton on the tv, the power light turns on and about 2-3sec the power and opc light start to blink and thats about it.

How are the power and opc lights blinking? Do they blink simultaneously or does one blink then the other? How many time do they blink per second? Also have you had it fixed yet? and if so what was done? I had a similar problem with my set.

Keep always blinking the green lights indicator ones i plug the power cord. no video, no raster on the screen.

The green lights on a Sharp television indicate a problem. The number of blinks is a code. The television has gone into a coma in order to protect itself. You can force this television on by doing this. Unplug the television. Hold down the vol+ and channel down button on the television and while holding them down still plug the television in. This is a temporary way to view the television but the problem will get worse if not repaired. Should the television power on this way unplug it when you want to turn it off without pressing the power button at all.

Power light blinking green,nopicture lc-32sb24u lc-37sb24u

This same thing happened to me, but not until I fiddled with all of my remotes, trying to see if it was an input issue, battery issue, etc. I finally unplugged the tv from the wall and plugged it back in. Nothing. Then I went to take 5 minute ****. When I finished, the Power & OPC lights were blinking, and out of sync. I pressed the power button at the top of my TV and got a picture.
