Hi
You can set the unit to transfer the documents on to another fax. This is quite a longwinded process so I have included a link to the manual for this model as you will need to study this before you can achieve the transfer and my post would be running into several pages otherwise.
The link is here and the section you need to look at begins at page 141 on chapter 7-11

I realise you need to get these faxes out urgently so I am rushing my answer a bit!
In regards to the problem with the replace cartridge - I would recommend that when you get your faxes through you disconnect the machine from its power supply for 30 minutes then power up again to see if the issue resolves.
If not it is possible that the cartridge itself is faulty.
I hope this helps. Please do rate my answer. Many Thanks.
A few things to add in relation to your cartridge problem and to eliminate any of these as possible causes.
1) Ensure that you have removed the plastic seal from the side of the cartridge itself prior to installing it.
2) The cartridge should be rocked from side to side a few times to evenly distribute the toner
3) Ensure you have seated the cartridge properly on the rails and closed the lid firmly using two hands
4) Ensure that when you have installed the new cartridge you set the RX to memory.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Usually answered in minutes!
still couldn't forward the faxes from the memory but managed to find info in the document you sent me to get the printer to disregard the cartridge problem and print the memory contents anyway, which is what we needed to do.
Thank you
