I have an HP C4200 Printer-scanner-copier and when it tries to pull the paper in to print it says ''paper jam''. There is no paper in there that I can see.

Simply unplug it from the wall for 10 mins, then plug it back in and try again. Sometimes after a jam a re-start is needed.

Hp photosmart C4200, paper was jammed, pulled it out of the front, I don't think there is a jam anymore, but the printer still says there is a jam

There may be a small piece of either paper or dust on the sensor. Using a can of compressed air blow out the full paper path. If you still have an issue after that you may need some servicing.

I've changed the print cartridges for both color and black on a C4200 printer scanner. Now I'm getting a carriage jam message, when there doesn't seem to be anything jammed in the carriage. Help.

check whether the cartridges are installed properly or they seem to be loose.also apply a waxy material on the steal rod of the printer on which the carriage moves.to make it move frequently and fluently.
thank.
