Firstly we need to narrow down the problem - Is it the charger, battery or handset?

If you can try with a different charger so if you are trying with AC charger, try with a USB charger.

If you can swap batteries, to test if another battery in your device will take a charge.

Lastly, try your battery in another device if you can to see if that device will take charge with your battery.

If you can't test on another device, I would try another battery - its probably the cheapest option. A quick glimpse at the battery in your device may give you an indication - does it look warped?

My blackberry curve 9300 wont turn on i left it on charge over night and their is still no sign of it turning on ive removed the battery serveral times and not once have i seen the red light, befor it...

Try this.

Plug your BB into the charger.

With it plugged in take the battery out.

Wait a minimum of two minutes then put the battery back in.

Let it charge for a minimum of an hour before touching any keys or the trackpad.

If it still won't charge consider replacing your battery.

Blackberry shuts off and red light keeps flashing. I take the battery out and put it back in and it still wont work. Then randomly it will turn on and work for a bit. Im so lost, please help!

The flashing red light is telling you that the battery is almost drained down to capacity and that the phone must be plugged in now. When the charge is this low you are going to have to leave the phone recharge for at least 12 hours before trying to use it again. Once the phone is turned back on, the phone will reset itself. Good luck.

First charge your mobile for atleast 1 hour, and switch it ON you to remove the battery when mobile is turned ON and wait for few seconds re insert the battery then check

If problem still exsists connect your blackberry to computer check wheather its recognising the device If "yes" you need to take a back up of your hands set and re-install the operating system of your Blackberry. To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software using Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.5 to 5.0, perform the following steps:- 1) Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. 2) Click Help. 3) Select About Desktop Manager. 4) Click the Device Software tab. 5) Verify that the BlackBerry Device Software displayed is the latest version currently available from the wireless service provider.

Blackberry just randomly shuts off

check your battery terminal. I had this same problem right out of the box. it would only stay on for 15secs shut down and continue to cycle. turns out one of the 4 prongs wasnt connecting right with the battery. I could clearly see one was shorter than the others.

The phone would only work if connected to the computer.
Are you within your 30days? or 1yr manfacture warranty? or 90 days if it refurb (ATT)(anyway)

Screen shows battery with a red line through it

This usually means the bb and battery got a little wet or has other issues. Try these solutions in order. They go from easisest to hardest. NOTE: If you have an insurance policy on the bb probably best just to take it in.

1. Remove the back cover. Remove the battery and the SIM card. Wait 30 seconds. Replace SIM, battery and back cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

2. If that doesn't work, allow the bb to remain unplugged but ON for about 24 hours to drain the battery. Remove back cover and battery. Allow battery and opened bb to sit in a dry environment for 24 - 36 hours. Relace battery and cover. Reboot. Plug in the bb and charge fully.

3. If that fails retry step 2 but allow battery to FULLY drain then dry out again.

4. Take in.
