My Coby tv's VIDEO turns off after a few minutes

My Coby tv's video turns off automatically after a few minutes every time i try and use it! The sound continues to play but the video turns off. The power light remains green. I tried taking it apart and blowing it out with an air compressor to remove any possible dust but it didnt work. any ideas?

My COby tv wont turn on.
I unplugged my TV for 5 minutes after 5 minutes I pressed the Power button on the side of the TV not the power button on remote for a full minute. Plugged the TV back in, pressed the power button and it turned on. Doing this essentially does a reset.

Coby 26" loses sound after a few minutes, any guess why?
Electronics can fail after they warm up. When they cool down again they start working again. The electronics need replacing, on this TV its cheaper to replace the TV.

Check the closed captions settings. As dumb as it sounds this black box is an option. Make sure your tv is set to NO captions.

Rca truflat 13" tv, it turns on for few minutes at a time and then the screen goes blue, then a few minutes later it turns on again (only 2.5 yrs old, rarely used)

press front power switch to turn it on and hold for a few seconds, it will beep a few times and turn off automatically. now everything you setup for hd tv will be defaulted to normal.
