Mongoose Pro Scooter will not go

I have a mongoose pro scooter (XYD-6B). There is juice and the back wheel turns, but it wont go with a rider on it. It does, however, turn the back wheel when the back end is lifted up. How do I know if its just needs new battery or if it is something more serious?

You can have the battery tested for its voltage with an voltage meter and see if it is giving enough output for its purpose, but from the sounds of what you are saying it seems the battery isnt holding enough to power the scooter

I have the pro-rider mobility scooter 6 mph where would i find the fuse?
the fuse on most scooters is located under the seat, lift the back up and you should be able to se the batteries follow the wires from the battery to find a fuse.
