Step 1>
remove netdevicemanager.msi from windows cleanup utility.
then try to install software again.
step 2>
remove netdevice manager from registry.
hklm > software > hewlett packard under hewlett packard you will find many {4dfg324.........} entries on left. if you will check each one of these code entries has its discription on right hand side of registry window. each one of these are for scan.msi, solution center.msi.... etc. fine out netdevicemanager.msi adn uninstall that {code} key from hewlett packard. these code keys may also be found in same location under hewlett packard under install key or installed options.
- go t microsoft and download the windows installer cleanup utility. you can click this link: www.support.microsoft.com/kb/290301
-install the windows installer cleanup utility
- click on start>all programs> then look for windows installer cleanup utility and click on it.
- on the list of the software try to look for netdevicemanager and remove it
- then try reinstalling the software again
