If you do not have the software, you need to download the software from one of the following locations:

Official Canon Drivers and Software

Canon USA:DRIVER & DOWNLOADS

After ending download , unplug the printer USB and run the software that you downloaded.
The software installer will tell you when to connect USB.

I have a canon ip2600 and i have lost my disk that came with it so i can not install my printer

You should be able to go to the Canon web site and download the drivers you need to install for the printer.

I HAVE A PIXMA ip2600 canon printer need win me softwear to run

It says that this printer is not supported on windows 98, but they do list a driver and software package at the following link. You might want to try it.

I lost the installer cd to my canon iP2600 printer

go to cannon site. go to download or support to find your driver. these sites are very easy to use. be sure you search for right model number and correct windows os.
