Hi; You can find almost any Service or Owner's Manual you want at: Service Manuals.net. I just got the Service Manual for my RCA CC311 camcoder from them. The cost was $17.00 for a PDF download (they offer other options). Please pass this Info. on to others.
Usually you just put it into the charger that should have come with your camera. If your Camera has an automatic charge feature built-in (you'll have to plug it into a wall outlet via the supplied adapter), and your battery is still dead... buy a new battery! They don't cost much! Batteries are generally good for approx. two-three years depending on how long you use your camera, and how many times they have been recharged! Newer Batteries are constructed better and can be recharged many more times before they need to be replaced.
Hi
This is very simple. Just go to Google.com In the search bar type in" Manual for a RCA Camcorder, and put in it's Model Number. You will most likely get in a PDF file with Adobe Acrobat. It will come up and simply print it out. I have found all sorts of manulas for electronics from years ago.
What you need is a VHS C adaptor. I did a Google search and found at least 10 sites selling them. Rather than cut and paste, I suggest you go to Google and type in "VHS C Adaptor".
Select RCA camcorders feature both an Automatic and a Manual recording mode.
Automatic recording places the camcorder into Auto Shot™ mode. Focus, exposure, iris control, white balance, and the video light are controlled by the camcorder during Automatic recording. This mode is particularly handy for those times when you want to be able to just point the camera and record.
The Manual recording mode allows you to control many of the elements above yourself, as well as many of the camcorder's special features including Animation and Time Lapse. Manual mode is also where you access the menus and set the clock.
Make sure you press in the LOCK button while setting the POWER switch to the desired setting, either "A" (Automatic) or "M" (Manual) record mode.
# You may not have turned on the camcorder to record properly. For camcorders that feature both Automatic and Manual recording, make sure you press in the LOCK button while setting the POWER switch to the desired setting, either "A" (Automatic) or "M" (Manual) record mode.
# Automatic recording places the camcorder into Auto Shot™ mode, while Manual recording mode allows you to control many of the camcorder's special features, including accessing the menus and setting the clock.
# For many other camcorders, make sure the CAMERA/OFF/VCR switch is set to CAMERA.
Make sure the Erase Protection tab is in the position that allows recording. If not, slide the tab. Some tapes have removable tabs. If the tab has been removed, simply cover the hole with adhesive tape or use another tape.
I cannot get my little door to open, so I can put a tape in it.
