I have transfered audio files of radio programmes to my Sansa Clip. They do not appear in the list of files yet when I inspect the list on my computer screen they are all there and can be played on the computer. For some reason they do not appear on the Clip. this problem only began when I updated the firmware on my clip. Can anyone help please?

Try using windows media player to transfer the music...here's how 1.Update WMP to version 10 or 11 2.goto sync tab and yoyc player must be detected. 3.create a playlist of songs you want to transfer 4.click on start sync to transfer music to your player.

My Sansa Clip 2GB MP3 player won't let me add any more songs to it, even though there's 1.26 GB still available. I don't want to reformat the player, cuz that'll delete the songs I already have on there. ...

Hi there..

When you say having difficulty in adding the songs in CLIP, though you have enough space. I'd kindly request you to check for the number of songs that you have added.

Because when you add as MP3 player by default its bit rate is 128kbps so you can add up to 500 songs only. Kindly have a check on it.

I have given the number of songs that can be added with related to size of MP3 player..

Size of the player :512MB 1GB 2GB 4GB 8GB 16GB 32GB
Number of songs : 125 250 500 1000 2000 4000 8000

Kindly revert if any clarifications....

Can't add or remove music off my Sansa Rhapsody 2GB

first try this...

1 put on hold and hold record button while u turn on (your sansa is now in recovery mode)
2 connect your sansa to your comp via usb cable a box should show up saying the firmware version
3 close the window and disconnect your sansa (it will restart)

if that doesnt fix your problem try this...

1 connect your sansa to comp via usb cable
2 right click start on windows desktop go to explore
3 scroll down to your sansa's drive rifght click it go to properties
4 go to tools tab and click "check now" under error checking will take awhile and will erase your memory on the sansa but it will work again

I hope my post was helpful let me know!!!!

Switch the player from USB to either Auto or MTP mode. Or, you can transfer ALL songs in the manner you have just described. Either way.

Sansa Won't See Songs & No Longer Connects to Computer properly

Here's what happened - when he pressed format, the only OS that the device recognizes is a Windows system - you lost the Ubuntu formatting. You can try performing a firmware upgrade on the player, uninstalling all existing Sansa software from your computer, and then reinstalling the software and replugging the player into the computer.
