Model numbers for Bryant AC difference between a model pa4zna048 & a rspma48

The difference is the sticker on the outside of the unit and the slightly higher price for parts on the Bryant. Go with the Rheem but don't be mad at me when it breaks down, the Bryant will too. Honestly it's luck!!!

Depending on the brand and energy rating that price is probably in the ball park. I would go ahead and have the coil changed at the same time for best performance and to save more expense later.Hope this helps you. Thanks

This is called an "A" coil. You need a 5 ton "A" coil to match your outside unit, give or take 1/2 ton. The cost will vary greatly depending on the make of your unit.

No air blowing inside the house thru vents;starts fine than stops

You are likely low on charge and the unit is freezing up. You need some with gauges to check. You should not try to run this unit until then or it will burn out the compressor.

Air conditioning problem. unit, compressor

Look inside your outdoor unit and find the compressor tag. It should have a model and serial # on it and a manufacturer. Then do a basic search on the net for the distributor of your compressor. However, most distributors will not sell direct to the public. You will most likely need to purchase one through a contractor. If you email me your compressor information I can help you locate and price one out.

AC will not cool. How much should a service charge cost?

If the upstairs is working and the down stairs is not,You only need to have one unit checked,Don't assume it just needs puron(If it does,You have a leak, which cost more to locate and repair than some other likely causes)This is not something you can do yourself and is illegal if you are not EPA certified.to get a fair price would depend on your geographic location and the best way would be to call around to some local heating and air companies and ask how much a service call is.(That only tells you the price for them to came and see what the problem is,They will not be able to quote a price until they know what must be done to make the repairs.

I hope this has answered all your questions.
