How to Add 16G Micro sd card to Sansa c240 MP3 player?
I have a sandisk Sansa c240 mp3 player. I bought a 16G sandisk micro sd card to add memory to the mp3 player. When I put the micro sd card into the player everything gets messed up. Any help?

Inserting a microSD card into the Sansa does nto magically expand its internal memory. The card is a separate chunk of memory. You can move some songs from the internal memory to the card to free up some internal memory. Or you can add the new song to the card.
Make sure your usb mode is msc plugin your sansa and go to my computer click on Sansa folder and you should see your removable disk this is your expansion card
Well, the most memory from a micro sd card the Sansa mp3 player can take is 2gb, because anything more will freeze up the player because it was not designed to read that much memory. So if you have a 1gb or a 2gb memory card, then you can use them.
I believe you can fix it by going on the player, then to settings, then to USB mode, and switching it from MTP to MSC. If you're in MSC already and it fails to recognize, then I don't know. :(
In my experience, every mp3 player/photo frame/etc with a card reader has a MAXIMUM memory limit for the type of card that it can read. It is possible that the Sansa player can only read 2GB Micro SD cards or smaller - and thisi nformation may not have been available when they printed the manual. If you have followed all instructions, and it still will not read the card, try switching to a 2GB Micro SD card.
