I can't get the correct driver for Janome MC 10001 for Vista 64bi

I can't find the correct drivers for the Janome MC 10001 for Windows Vista 64-bit. I have updated to Easy Customizer 10001 plus ver 3.6. There is a driver on the folder that states drivers but unfortunately the computer does not recognize the drivers in this folder. Any ideas on where I can get a correct driver. I have emailed Janome and of course am waiting on a reply.

See if you can run the program in compatibility mode, with win 2000 or xp.

I have just purchased an old Janome Memory Craft 10001 embroidery machine and need the drivers in order to be able to connect it to my pc via usb cable.

You can go the the Janome web site to find drivers for your computer. When you save designs to the memory card you must save them in a folder (emb, i think}.Put a blank card in the machine while the machine is off anf=d then turn the machine on,,,It will make the folder for you.

Oil only as instructed in the manual. As a computerized machine, it could be severely damaged from oil being applied in a sensitive area.

FAT error on format

FAT error fixed! Formatted using my Canon SLR camera.
I would like to credit whomever it was that suggested using the Camera to check if the card was working for the thought. I had spent many hours attempting to format and reformat my cards using Windows 10 64bit Pro machine. They would work perfectly fine on the computer but would fail on my MC 10001 every time. The MC also failed when trying to format on the sewing machine. Then I stumbled across this thread. I can only guess that the age of technology has become incompatible with the way my computer formats the card. Once I formatted using the camera, everything magically works. Of course, I needed to reformat using the MC machine; but, that was a breeze. I hope this helps someone!

Does this machine have a low shank --- or high shank?

High Shank Machines are all the Janome Embroidery models MC 8000, MC 9000, 10000, 10001, 11000, 200E, 300E, 350E....etc
If yours is not an embroidery machine, it has a LOW SHANK .....the higher shank allows for easier access for the embroidery hoop

Need janome Jsmc860 driver for 64 bit windows vista computer laptop

I also had the same problem with my mother-in laws MC 100001 & Vista. So far I have been unable to find a driver for Vista. We happened to have a laptop with XP, so we installed the software and the drivers worked fine (WIN 2000 driver for XP). At present this is the only work around that I have been able to find.

Janome MC 10001 auto. needle threader stuck in up position.

You are threading the top of the machine incorrectly.

Make sure the needle is in correctly with the flat side to the rear of the machine, make sure to thread the upper and lower portions of the machine correctly. If this does not solve your problem, please respond.
