Toro lawnmower tecumshe lv195ea the motor works for about 10 to 15 minutes and stops i have to waith until cool off to starter back again i clean the carburator / check the clearence on the valves/has fresh gas and still the same problem i thinking that probably the coil heat up

Did you damage your lawnmower in any way?
Try to start it after it has had some time to cool off.

Possible bad coil.

ive had two of these to fix...its the battery contacts get dirty on the lawnmower battery compartment ive checked wires switchs all fine as other stated,ive cleaned the contacts on the lawnmower side with a fibreglass brush ,and they dont shut down down...anymore rich ,the contacts are shown in picture below ,its worked for me

The motor is the power house of the cutter which is responsible for rotating the blades. Electric lawn mowers can be stopped for two main reasons: A faulty power switch or a loose cable connection. Motor overheating can cause thermal cut-out to trip.

Check your gas cap, make sure the vent hole in the cap is clear.

Need fuel that is not more than a couple months old

Need a good or clean spark plug

Have no idea how old it is, or how many years
you have used it

Sometimes you have to remove the head & clean the
carbon off the piston & head
That is a tune-up on small equipment

Make sure the air filter is clean

They usually start with the air filter off,but you don't
want to do that all the time

Battery charged? Bad fuel? Low on oil? 30w oil required. Clean carb. Check for improper ground on starting circuit. Ignition switch providing power to starter when key turned? Always use Stabile in gas. Remove bowl from carb ensure float is working properly. Float up no fuel flow, float down fuel flow. Ensure oil is full, low oil shutoff will not allow starting.

You may want to check valve clearance, sounds borderline. You should have 11/1000s on the exhaust valve.The exhaust is usually the culprit, since it runs hotter.

Remove the rewind housing and engine cover, clean the cooling fins and that should fix it.
