When i shoot my paslode finish nailer it stops firing after 3 to 4 shots i have checked all the wires and spark plugs and have been using 2 fully charged batteries any ideas
what about the fuel cells, they have an expiration date on the bottom? Also are you using the right guage nails for this tool? Let me know and I will try and helpwhat about the fuel cells, they have an expiration date on the bottom? Also are you using the right guage nails for this tool? Let me know and I will try and help
could be a couple things first off are you using the right guage nails for this nailer, second do they move freely thru the magazine. When you say stops firing does the motor still run or not advancing the nails. Check the fuel cell, there is n expiration date on the bottom and old cells will cause this problem. Have you cleaned the tool lately, could be dirty and the cylinder might be dry. Let me know after reading ideas and I can come up with more and if you need a owners manual for this go to Paslode.com and you can download a manual with troubleshooting section and cleaning hints.could be a couple things first off are you using the right guage nails for this nailer, second do they move freely thru the magazine. Make sure that the filter in the back is clean you can pop the back cover off and clean it with water if it is dirty then the excess co2 gas that the gun gives off will not be able to excape the chamber and sensors inside the gun will not let if fire. This should work for you

Paslode with no spark could be one of a couple of things. First, is the tool clean? These tools are notorious for failing due to the amount of sludge that builds up inside the tool from use. If you are cleaning the tool yourself, you should make sure the wires leading to the fan unit are not getting kinked or pinched during reassembly. Lastly, the tool needs a new spark unit. One way to test this out is to remove fuel and get ear close to rear of tool for a test shot. If you hear the click of the spark plug then the spark plug is fine and chances are that this tool needs to be cleaned.
Clean it and oil it according to directions, then put a dab of dielectric grease on top of the spark plug. If this does not work ...Change the spark plug. I found one spark plug that had broken in half and made good contact intermittently which caused the problem you describe
It may be as simple as making sure the spark plug lead is in the spark unit all the way.( Black box in the handle). Good Luck!! If you get stuck call Adelaide Nail Gun Repairs. They may be able to help you over the phone.
try a new battery m8 when they have been used fir a while they wear out at the catch and when u fire the nail gun the battery works its way out enuf to stop it making a good contact. Hope this helps.
My paselode was doing the same thing, and I followed all of the cleaning instructions, but the problem continued.
If it was left alone for a minute, it would fire again, so I removed the cover over the trigger assy, and checked the spark plug wire connection. The trigger came out, and during reassembly, I noticed that the electrical switch was hanging, and slowly pushing back out.
I cleaned and lightly spray/oiled the switch pin, and voila.........works like a charm.
