No updates for any of the 500 series Navmans! New chipset, software, etc. so they can't do it!? Wha-a-a, did they fire all the people who DID do it a couple of years ago? Can/t they farm it ti a third party? Sure, they can do anything that they WANT to, and what they WANT is to sell you new hardware. BUY someone else's hardware if you have to!!

Navman in no longer offering map support for it's iCN 510. I am really mad about this. I spent $400 2 years ago for something that will not have anymore map updates. Here is there reply when I wrote to them about it. Class action suit anyone?

Dear Henry,

Thank you for contacting Navman Technical Support.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Navman has decided not to release further map updates for these device due to changes in technology over the last year. We have changed the chipset and software platform and are unable to update this device. The Navman 500 series was released with an updated map version last 2005.

If you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us, we'll be more than happy to help.
Kind regards,

Technical Support Team

Panasonic M7 VHS Camera

1.) set your pc to the correct norm (PAL or NTSC).
2.) if this doesn't help maybe you need to clean the head of your camera.
Take a short search on YouTube how to do it, there are dozens.
(NOTE: if you have recorded something with a dirty head you will not be able to play it back correctly even if after your head is clean!!!)

Need to know the Locatons for Vaccum hoses I have

Easiest way to find a vacume leak is to get some soapy water in a spray bottle and when engine is running look for any appearing bubbles that would signal a leak. All vacume hoses are simular in looks black rubber ranging in size from pencil to thunb in diameter. Vacume leaks are time consuming to repair and occasionally frustrating just be patient and listen with your ears.

Replacing memory on the P4M800-M7 A motherboard

No. Just make sure that you two RAM modules have the same specifications (speed, clock).
If you don't know about that, then simply insert both RAM modules and start your computer. If Windows loads, then right click on MyComputer and go to properties. If it shows 1.5GB then you are OK.
If the computer fails to start or you hear multiple beeps it means that they are incompatible.
Replace the 512 module and insert the new one and try again.
Always remember to turn off the power and unplug the cable from the power supply before replacing RAM modules.

Hi I also have a P4m800-M7 rev 3.1 motherboard and a 512mb of ram.. my question is, is it okay to put another ram but in 1gb size its pc3200, will it work? thanks!!

The motherboard supports 2GB maximum memory. 1x1GB in each slot.

Maximum clock speed is 400MHz (PC3200), so the memory module you have should work fine.

Please remember to remove the power cord before installing the new ram.

System won?t recognize SATA drive

No, the size does not matter. When you state the motherboard does not see the SATA drive are you saying the bios does not list the SATA drive? You're 750GB drive is most likely SATA 2.0 / 3.00BG transfer rate.
The P4M800-M7 does support SATA but it does not support SATA 2.0. So what you need to do to get the drive to function at a lower speed. Set to run Ultra 100/133MHz. You'll need help to do this. Try this software for Seagate. It might work for Seagate.
I haven't the time to research Seagates site for simular software.
However you can look through Seagate. Again you want to lower the SATA drive speed to Ultra. The bios will than see the SATA & so will windows.

Good Luck!
