download the latest update file in ps3.com

and install the update with USB

We Fix Everything

for sure u need to replace the blu-ray laser or maybe your PS3 need to update to the latest firmware

Delete all game data then turn off media servers. It will then download the update

its a bug in the update (3.00/3.01)
you arent alone with this problem, im one of them to, so im in the same boat as you.

So far theres no fix for this, and theres only 3 things you can do.

1. Call Sony and have them replace your faulty unit. (not free. (can be free if you have warrenty))
2. Replace the Blu-Ray unit yourself. (you will lose your warrenty if you do this. if you still have any)
3. Wait and hope Sony gonna release an update that fix the latest update. (probaly a 3.02)

I had that problem with Madden 09.
I read on the internet that the older PS2 slimlines freeze
after Madden 06-07.
I bought a used satin silver SCPH 77001, a 2007 model I think,
and no more frezzing. plus this thing plays
all DVDs. not just some of them.

i believe it is because of the tv the ps3 is fine but the tv is having difficulty reading the ps3

The updates should be downloaded automatic (make sure you have your console connected to the network). The update should fix your freezing problems.

ts a problem with the latest download update. sorry to say but its a job for sony as long as its still under warranty. just phone them up explain the probs your having and they will send you a new (normally reconditioned) unit out. sony's replacement service is very good
